Where are you located? We are located on East Market Street in the borough of West Chester across the street from Lorenzo’s Steaks and the West Chester Railroad.
Where can I find parking? Parking can be a beast in the borough. If you live local within walking distance we recommend that. However if driving and you arrive early enough you may be able to snag a free spot in the borough. There are also paid street parking spots on East Market Street and several paid lots/garages in town. Always check the parking signs and when in doubt pay for your spot. It’s much cheaper than a parking ticket or tow. More information on parking can be found here.
What's the easiest way to pay for parking? The easiest way to pay for parking is to pay using the Flowbird App. The app allows you to easily pay for parking using a credit/debit card and adjust your meter without going back to your car. You can also set up reminders on your phone that indicate when your parking session is over.
When does the studio open for classes? The studio is open 10 minutes prior to your scheduled class start time and we give a 5 minute grace period after class start. Once 5 minutes are up the doors are locked and we kindly ask that you do not disrupt class. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
I’m new to the studio. What should I bring? A water bottle (we have a refillable station), your own yoga mat, jacket/hoodie, and any additional props or items you may want.
What props do you have in the studio? We have yoga mats, bolsters, blankets, straps, and foam blocks.
How should I dress for yoga? Dress however you feel comfortable first and foremost. Second, if you’re taking a more active yoga class wearing form fitting, sweat wicking clothing may be the way to go (flared yoga pants are okay). If you’re taking a gentle, restorative, or yin class odds are you can get away with wearing less form fitting clothing such as sweats, palazzo pants, even pajamas (we won’t judge). If taking meditation, we recommend dressing for ultimate comfort and making sure you feel warm (hoodies, snuggies, are always welcome). We recommend dressing in layers if you have yet to visit the studio as everyone’s body temperature is slightly different.
Can I bring my phone into class? While yes you may bring your phone please be cautious and turn your ringer off and notifications on do not disturb as not to disturb the classroom. Thanks for your cooperation!
Can I drop in for a class without registering? While you can do this, we strongly encourage you to pre-register online on our website or using the Mindbody app.
Is the studio open all day? The studio is only open for scheduled classes and appointments. Doors open 10 minutes prior to class start.
Does the studio allow food and drink? Kindly bring only water to the studio and if need be a small mess free snack. We have a water fill up station for water bottles and a coffee and tea bar for special events and gatherings.
Are there classes for beginners or those with movement restrictions? Our Sunday class is tailored to beginner students. info@bewellcollective.org to see if private sessions are a better fit for your needs and to see if we have a teacher that suits you.
Are there classes for those with movement restrictions/overcoming injuries? We offer gentle yoga which is at a slower pace. Restorative yoga is much more meditative and less movement is involved. Another option is to take private sessions with a qualified yoga teacher. If interested in private sessions please reach out to info@bewellcollective.org to see if private sessions are a better fit for your needs and to see if we have a teacher that suits you.
Do you have a cancellation policy? Unattended reservations or cancellations with less than 6 hours' notice will be responsible for 100% of the cost for the class space that was reserved. Students with class cards or memberships will be charged a $10 late cancellation fee. Thank you for understanding and supporting us.
How do I cancel my monthly studio membership? Email info@bewellcollective.org to modify your studio membership or plan.
Studio Rentals
When is the studio available for rent? The studio is available for rent when classes are not in session.
How do I book the studio? Head over to our Rentals page and check out on Mindbody.
